Plywood

Water Mill Building Supply distributes plywood panels and associated products that are widely used within building construction. Ply is highly versatile and used in everything from sub-flooring to furniture. Cheaper and stronger than solid wood, it resists shrinking, warping and cracking. Ply is produced in differing thicknesses, finishes and wood species. Grading is determined by factors such as whether it is sanded smooth, natural defects and its finishing etc.

Softwood Ply

Softwood ply panels are available in many thicknesses and grades. Used in applications from flooring to roofing and sheathing, plywood is tough, inexpensive, impact resistant and boasts an impressive load capacity.

HDF & MDF

Glued wood fiber, Hard Density Fiberboard (HDF), Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and Ultra-light MDF are dense, strong and have a smooth finish. They’re ideal for painting and used often for sheathing, sound proofing, underlayment, closets, cabinets and roofing. MDF is the premier substrate for wood veneers. Sort after for its good bond strength, resistance to warping and ability to hold screws.

Sub-Flooring

Between the floor finish and the joists, lays the sub-floor and underlayment. Water Mill Building Supply distributes T&F fir subflooring as well as branded products including Edge Gold and AdvanTec, two of the leading sub floor materials in the construction industry.

Superior sheathing protects against buckling, cupping, warping and sagging. Quality sheets are touch sanded to start flat and stay flat with a fastening template for easy installation. Edge Gold™ sheathing comes with built-in drains for rain water and a 200 day no-sand guarantee.
